Course Plan

Topic 1: Introduction to PTE – Scoring, Format, Myths, and Read Aloud
In this introductory module, students will get a complete overview of the PTE Academic exam — from understanding how it works to how it’s scored. You’ll learn the structure of each section, discover what the AI looks for when grading, and clear up common myths that confuse many test-takers. The session will also introduce you to the Read Aloud task, helping you build a strong foundation for the Speaking section right from day one.

  • Lesson 1.1 – Understanding the PTE Exam: What is the PTE Academic test, how it differs from IELTS, and why it’s a great choice for students planning to study or settle abroad.
  • Lesson 1.2 – PTE Scoring System Explained: Learn how the AI scoring works, how marks are distributed across sections, and what skills impact your overall score.
  • Lesson 1.3 – Test Format Overview: A detailed look at the four modules — Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening — with question types and time allocations.
  • Lesson 1.4 – Common Myths and Misconceptions: Debunk popular myths like “speaking fast gives more marks” or “templates guarantee high scores.”
  • Lesson 1.5 – Introduction to Read Aloud: Learn the fundamentals of the first speaking question — pronunciation, fluency, tone, and confidence in reading naturally.

Topic 2: Read Aloud (RA) Practice, Problem Solving & Write From Dictation (WFD) Strategies
In this session, students will get hands-on practice with Read Aloud and Write From Dictation (WFD) — two of the most scoring tasks in the PTE test. Each student will receive individual feedback on pronunciation, fluency, and pacing during Read Aloud practice. The class will then move to Write From Dictation, where you’ll learn proven listening and memory techniques to capture sentences accurately and improve spelling and grammar. This topic focuses on real-time trainer interaction, problem-solving, and building practical skills for immediate improvement.

Topic 3: Write From Dictation Practice & Repeat Sentence Lecture
This topic continues with advanced Write From Dictation (WFD) training and introduces one of the most challenging speaking tasks — Repeat Sentence (RS). Students will go through trial-and-error practice sessions to sharpen accuracy, spelling, and sentence recall. The trainer will also conduct a Repeat Sentence lecture with live demonstrations to help you understand how to manage memory, pronunciation, and rhythm effectively.

Topic 4: Repeat Sentence Problem Solving & Describe Image Introduction
In this session, students will strengthen their Repeat Sentence (RS) skills through in-depth discussion and personalized problem-solving. The trainer will address individual challenges such as memory gaps, pronunciation issues, and fluency control, with live demonstrations if needed. The second part of the topic introduces Describe Image (DI) — a key Speaking task. Students will learn the overall strategy, sentence structure, and delivery style, with a special focus on two major image types commonly seen in the PTE exam.

Topic 5: Describe Image – Remaining Types & Sentence Structure Practice
This session expands your Describe Image skills by covering all the remaining image types that appear in the PTE Speaking section. You’ll learn how to describe Pie Charts, Tables, Maps, Processes, and Random Images effectively using structured sentences. The trainer will demonstrate step-by-step speaking examples and help you practice forming smooth, natural, and high-scoring responses.

Topic 6: RTAS, Retell Lecture (RL) & Summarize Spoken Text (SGD)
In this topic, students will learn three key Listening and Speaking tasks — Read Then Answer Summarize (RTAS), Retell Lecture (RL), and Summarize Spoken Text (SGD). Each task will be explained in detail with strategies, step-by-step methods, and live demonstrations. The goal is to help you understand how to capture key ideas, structure responses properly, and maintain fluency while speaking or writing summaries based on audio inputs.

Topic 7: Comprehensive Revision & Q/A Session
This session is designed to review all previously discussed topics and ensure every student has a strong understanding of each task type. The trainer will briefly go over key strategies, common mistakes, and practical tips for improvement. Students will also get the chance to ask questions, clarify doubts, and discuss any personal challenges faced during practice.

Topic 8: Reading Fill in the Blanks (FIB & FIBL) Practice
In this session, students will focus on Reading Fill in the Blanks (FIB) and Reading & Fill in the Blanks (FIBL) tasks — two important Reading question types in PTE. You’ll learn how to identify keywords, predict answers, and improve accuracy under time pressure. The trainer will guide you through step-by-step strategies and provide practice exercises to build confidence and speed.

Topic 9: Essay Writing Practice with Feedback
In this session, students will practice writing essays on various PTE topics to improve structure, grammar, vocabulary, and time management. Each student will do a self-check, receive personalized feedback from the trainer, and practice dictation to enhance accuracy and coherence. This topic helps build strong Writing skills necessary for high scores in PTE.

Topic 10: Discussion Class, Q/A & Quiz
In this session, students will review everything practiced so far through a guided discussion. The class encourages active participation, peer learning, and clarification of doubts. It also includes a Q/A session and a quiz to test understanding, reinforce strategies, and identify areas needing improvement.

Topic 11: Summary Writing – SWT & SST
This session focuses on Summarize Written Text (SWT) and Summarize Spoken Text (SST) tasks in PTE. Students will practice structuring summaries effectively, using proper grammar, and highlighting key points. All techniques taught in previous grammar and writing classes will be applied here, making it simple and easy to follow for high-scoring responses.

Topic 12: Reorder Paragraphs & Highlight Incorrect Words (HIW) Practice
In this session, students will focus on Reorder Paragraphs and Highlight Incorrect Words (HIW) tasks — two important Reading and Listening question types in PTE. The trainer will explain strategies, demonstrate examples, and guide students through practice exercises to improve accuracy, logical sequencing, and error detection skills.

Topic 13: Advanced Question Types – MCQM, MCQS, HCS & SMW
This session covers less common but scoring PTE question types: Multiple Choice Questions – Multiple Answers (MCQM), Multiple Choice Questions – Single Answer (MCQS), Highlight Correct Summary (HCS), and Select Missing Words (SMW). Students will learn strategies, scoring patterns, and time-saving techniques for each type. Guided practice with examples ensures students can approach these questions confidently.

Topic 14: Mock Test Analysis – Full & Sectional Mocks
In this session, students will analyze their mock test performances to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Every student is required to have completed 2 full-length mocks and 2 sectional mocks prior to this class. The trainer will provide detailed feedback, highlight common mistakes, and guide students on strategies to maximize scores in the actual exam.

Topic 15: Mock Test Analysis & Exam Environment Guidance
This session focuses on another round of mock test analysis while simulating the real exam environment. Students will review their performance, discuss strategies, and get clarity on time management and question-handling techniques. The trainer will also conduct a Q/A session to address any remaining doubts before the final preparation.
